What is an ATS Panel?
An ATS panel monitors your primary power source continuously. The moment it detects voltage deviation, phase loss, or frequency drift, it transfers your entire load to the secondary source with full mechanical and electrical interlocks that make it physically impossible for both sources to energise simultaneously.
ATS and AMF are not the same product. An AMF starts and stops a generator. An ATS assumes both sources are independently live and decides which one feeds the load. For facilities with two utility feeders or a permanently running backup generator, ATS is the correct specification.
DMRC mandates automatic transfer switches with dual power supplies across all station infrastructure. Subtech panels meet IEC 61439 type-tested requirements and IP54 enclosure standards specified in DMRC electrical panel documentation.
